Down on his luck and just trying to survive, 24-year-old college dropout Adam Montanaro finds joy in his otherwise depressing life by indulging in his favorite pastime, ghost hunting. That is, until his normally uneventful hobby leads to him accidentally releasing what he can only assume is an actual demon.

Initially, he’d planned to write it off as a prank or hallucination. But when disappearances start happening all over town and violent, unexplained murders become a weekly occurrence, the truth becomes impossible to deny. The demon is real, and it's only a matter of time before it comes for him. If he wants to survive, he'll have to act fast and find a way to send the evil creature back to the deepest pit of Hell from where it came.

But, even as the malevolent threat grows nearer, Adam can’t seem to stay focused on the task at hand. There’s a new guy in town. A handsome and mysterious drifter named Sasha, whose calming voice, warm presence, and seemingly endless knowledge of the supernatural, has a way of making him feel like everything's going to be okay. Even if he chooses to do nothing at all.

Can Adam snap out of his lovestruck daze long enough to clean up the mess he's made, or is he and the rest of the town already doomed?
